Halim
ÇELİKER (1961, Balıkesir)
He graduated from the Faculty of
Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University
in 1985. He attended
the Salzburg Summer Academy. He
joined the Faculty of
Fine Arts at
Anadolu University in 1987.
In
1992, he
received the
‘Sufficiency in Art’ degree from the
Institute of Social Sciences at
Mimar Sinan University. He has been
awarded the 2nd Prize in the Mevlana
Painting Competition (1991) and a
Mention in the 54th State
Painting and Sculpture Competition
(1993) besides many other Success
Awards in various competitions. At
present, he teaches painting in the
Atatürk Faculty of Education at
Marmara University.
