Filinta ÖNAL (1972, Ankara)

He is a 1995 graduate of Hacettepe University, from the Faculty of Fine Arts’ Department of Sculpture. He received his Master of Arts degree in 1997. He worked as a faculty member at Mersin University from 1998 to 2000. He has been granted the Success Award in the 57th State Painting and Sculpture Competition (1996) and the First Prize in the Sculpture Competition organized by Middle East Technical University (2006). He has been involved in many local projects concerning statues. He works as an independent sculptor for the present.
