Metin Erkan KAFKAS (1965, Mardin)

He studied Traditional Turkish Arts in The Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. After receiving a Master degree in 1993, he joined the Faculty of Fine Arts as a Lecturer. He completed ‘Sufficiency in Art’ program in 1999. He has been awarded the 2nd Prize in the Design Competition organized by the Turkish Textile Trust (2000). He became an assistant professor in 2002. Currently, he is a faculty member at Marmara University.
