Sofia Minson...
is a New Zealand artist who has a flair for
celebrating the spirit of people, culture and nature
through painting.
Born in Auckland in 1984, Sofia spent much of her
childhood in Samoa, Sri Lanka and China and
developed a strong appreciation for richly diverse
cultures. On returning to New Zealand her artistic
enthusiasm flourished and she used this to connect
with her homeland as she had other parts of the
world

SOLO
EXHIBITION IN ANKARA, TURKEY, 05 - 24 JUNE 2008:
Sofia Minson will be
exhibited over a dozen of her new landscape,
portrait and surrealist works at a major solo
show in Turkey in June. She has attended
the opening at Erenus Art Gallery in Ankara on
the evening of the 5th June. The exhibition
coincided with the artist's three month trip
through Israel, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and
Egypt. Through photographs and learning, her
travels and experiences will inspire future
